Finding a good tradesman to help.

Good tradesmen must be like buses: You wait around for one to turn up and suddenly, they all appear at the same time. At least, that’s been my experience.
I’ve been advertising a job vacancy for a long time on the Buildingrooms website for several trades to help me with building and renovation work in Belfast. Recently, I had the good fortune to meet up with a great tiler, a very talented painter and decorator, two really clean an efficient plasterers: all at around the same time!! Where have these guys been hiding ? Obviously very busy until now.
The credit crunch in Belfast, like most other cities around the UK, has seen a downturn in demand for skilled tradesmen. The result is talented people in the building sector looking at alternatives to how they used to work in their chosen trade.
There’s plenty of tradesmen available now to choose from. Be careful though, its a case of the good, the bad and the desperate at the moment, so select carefully. More on this later.
Meanwhile, I may have stumbled accross potentially the best tiler, painter and plasterers I’ve seen in a long time. The best news is they want to help buildingrooms with some quality building work.
